We know we shouldn’t complain when the sun is shining these days but to be honest; it’s too hot. No one is sleeping, everyone is sweating and the only positive is the opportunity to eat ice cream and ice pops at any hour of the day. So while it doesn’t look like it will be getting any cooler anytime soon it’s definitely time to try this delicious and simple protein-packed ice cream recipe from our friends at PhD Nutrition.
High Protein Ice Cream
Ingredients Required:
1 scoop of PhD Smart Protein Chocolate Brownie
½ cup of unsweetened almond milk
½ tsp of unsweetened cacao powder
2 tbsp of peanut butter (or almond butter)
1 (or more) frozen banana
Instructions
1. Add all the ingredients to a blender and mix until it has a thick ice cream consistency.
2. Serve immediately and whilst you’re enjoying that tasty ol’ treat, book yourself onto your next Tough Mudder Challenge, or get a 2021 ticket locked in. (You can also freeze and enjoy later)
