We’ve already told you that World’s Toughest Mudder is the ultimate testing ground for all future Tough Mudder obstacles. But where exactly do they get built and tested before they make their way to the desert? Out in the fields of a little town in Pennsylvania, that’s where.
The obstacle testing process doesn’t happen overnight. In fact, our insane product team works for months brainstorming new ways to test your mental and physical toughness before they land on solid ideas worth building. Cut to Alpha testing where these narrowed down design ideas are finally brought to life at the official Tough Mudder test grounds in the lovely Keystone State. Fast forward a few weeks, add some minor tweaks and fine tuning and they’re ready to enter the Beta phase of testing.
Incase you missed Alpha test Facebook livestreaming in August your second chance to catch a sneak peak is on the horizon. Tune in LIVE this Saturday, 9/17 to watch Tough Mudder Ambassadors and seasoned Legionnaires put their daredevil reputations to the test on a series of new obstacle designs that may make their way to a 2017 course near you.
