Whether you’re prepping for a Tough Mudder or Tough Mudder Half, getting startline ready can be intimidating. That’s why we created a pretty kickass new training page complete with 3 month, 2 month, and 1 month downloadable workout guides that’ll take all the guesswork out of the game for you.

Ever wanted to be a human ladder and have your friends (and complete strangers) climb all over you? Well, to conquer Pyramid Scheme, it takes leg stability, core strength, some dang strong shoulders and (a sprinkle of) mental grit. This workout will build your strength, you just have to bring the grit.

You can find this Coach-approved workout on the Microsoft Band and within the 30+ workouts you’ll have at your disposal once you download the guide that’s right for you. What’re you waiting for? Start training now.

5 Rounds:
20 goblet squats w/ c4 jug
15 leg levers (leg raises)
10 shoulder push ups/hspu

Cycle through these three movements for five rounds. Use an odd object for the goblet squats, we got crafty and made a jug of C4, but a gallon of water would do the trick. For the other two movements keep your core tight, and show control. You never know how many of your filthy friends will be using you as a ladder to reach the apex of this obstacle.

Put your new skills to the test on a 2016 course. Check out the sweet lineup.
