5 Things Tough Mudder Is Thankful For this Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is probably the most Mudder-like holiday of them all. It’s all about getting together and sharing, and there’s usually some teamwork involved to get that big bird and all those delicious sides out on the table.

So without further ado, it’s time to reflect on the top things we’re thankful for.

1. Helping hands

Part of the beauty of running a Tough Mudder is knowing that if you can’t complete an obstacle on your own, someone else is going to have your back. We like knowing we can count on Mudders to help each other out. Thank you to those who lent a helping hand on-course this year.

2. Teammates

Your teammates are like your family out there on the course. You have to make it over rough paths and face difficult challenges, but you all stick it out together in the end. No Mudder gets left behind. Thank you for believing in each other.

3. Sean Corvelle

Sean is the man. His motivational start line speeches remind us why we do what we do in the first place. If you’ve ever met Tough Mudder emcee Sean Corvelle at an event, you know what we’re talking about. If you haven’t, well, there’s always next year. Thank you for another awesome events season, Sean.

4. Mudder Nation

Mudders are some of the finest people on the planet. You don’t have to be a Jim Campbell or a TNT to gain our respect – though those guys definitely have it. You just need go out there and give it everything you’ve got out there on the course. Thank you to the members of Mudder Nation, who did just that, and inspire us every day.

5. Tough Mudder MVPs

Without our volunteers, aka Tough Mudder MVPs, we wouldn’t be able to put on events. Our MVP’s provide support behind the scenes and on the sidelines. Thank you for cheering on our Mudders while they overcame challenges. Thanks for all the hard work and muddy high-fives.

No matter who you spend Thanksgiving with this year, whether it’s family, friends or a mix of both, we’ll be thinking of you, Mudders. (And if you are looking for someone to run off all the extra pie with, start your New Year’s resolution early and begin training for a Tough Mudder event near you.)
