It’s no secret that Kids have rocked the Mini and Mighty Mudder course so far in 2021. With a revamped course format, Tough Mudder is elated to bring scaled down experiences of our iconic world-class obstacles to Kids on a 1/2 mile and 1 mile course in all corners of North America.
Even better? We enlisted KOOSH to present the entire series and provide our aspiring Mudders an extra element of fun before, during and after the Tough Mudder Kids course.
It’s time to look back on some of the top photos from 2021. The saying is true: pictures can tell 1,000 words. But, for now – we prefer to align them with our core Tough Mudder values. The most important one: FUN.

NO PARENTAL SUPERVISION NEEDED
Kids rule on the Tough Mudder Kids course, and we love seeing friends groups or families come out to make it a full day in the mud.

TEAMWORK
Need a boost? Your brother, sister or random Tough Mudder Kid you have never met is there to lend you a hand…or knee, in this instance.

MAKING A SPLASH
With a full pass at getting as Muddy as you want on the weekends (without tracking it into the house), Tough Mudder Kids know how to take on a fun challenge by jumping right in.

OBSTACLES
Obstacles are the name of the game. Tough Mudder Kids is designed to encourage teamwork and comradery, something important to instill into Kids at an early age.

MEMORIES
Not all weekends are created equal. Tough Mudder Kids leave the course with a smile and desire to try something different, next time they are up for another adventure.

WET & WILD
Sure, there is plenty of mud…but, obstacles like “Cage Crawl” let Tough Mudder Kids experience the elements over the course of a 1/2 mile or 1 mile course.

EXCITEMENT
From start to finish, Tough Mudder Kids know where the party is on course.

DOWN & DIRTY
Head, shoulders, knees and toes… Tough Mudder Kids have learned new perspectives on how to take on obstacles like “Kiss of Mud” by getting low and using their strength to crawl across through muddy water.

ACHIEVING NEW HEIGHTS
Seeing Tough Mudder Kids conquer various types of obstacles, like “Everest” with the help from others has allowed many to cross the finish line with a sense of teamwork.

CONFIDENCE
Many Tough Mudder Kids approach obstacles like “Polar Plunge” with hesitancy, but with the help of a friend and some confidence – they trudge across the cold water with a smile on their face, moving to the next obstacle.
Tough Mudder Kids is recommended for ages 5 – 12 years old and we have a stacked 2022 season lined up with Mini and Mighty Mudder events scheduled for most event weekends. Make it a family affair and let your aspiring Mudder earn their first (or another) headband.
