The epic series of events that took place at Tough Mudder Los Angeles last weekend were pretty mind-blowing. Teamwork and camaraderie were on full display, showing what it truly means to be a part of Mudder Nation. In case you missed any of the action, we cut down the 48 hours of livestream footage into a best-of-the-best highlight reel on the Tough Mudder Livestream page. In the event that you don’t have hours to spare soaking in every last second of awesomeness captured by all 4 cameras, here are our top five moments from TM LA and where you’ll find them on the Roving Cam stream.

Pyramid Scheme Strategy Perfection (20:00)

This is quite possibly the BEST strategy we’ve ever seen to tackle this obstacle. See it for yourself at minute 20:00.

Jen Widerstrom on Training, Nutrition, and Motivation (35:56)

Arriving to the course solo, Jen relied on the help of Mudder Nation to get over teamwork driven obstacles like Everest and Block Ness. When asked what her advice to first time Mudders would be Widerstrom said, “Get out of your head. It’s easy to look at the vastness of the course, but step by step, obstacle by obstacle, you’ll be shocked at what you’re capable of.” Fast forward to minute 35:46 for the full interview.

Epic Block Ness Teamwork in Action (2:16:00)

Proving that communication is the key to getting these massive cubes in motion, this group of Mudders took teamwork to the next level while taming The Block Ness Monster. See it for yourself 2 hours and 16 minutes into the highlight reel.

Superman Conquers Berlin Walls  (3:17:00)

In the words of 6x Legionnaire David Tyson Perry, aka Superman, “There are people who watch it happen and people who make it happen – this is Team Makin’ It Happen.” Check out their epic display of teamwork 3 hours and 17 minutes into the reel.

Age is Just a Number (3:40:00)

At 73 years old, Steven proves that being a Mudder has nothing to do with age and everything to do with sheer determination. And that there are no limitations to what you can do as long as you put your mind to it (and have a pull-up bar in your house). Watch him attempt to conquer King of Swingers for the SECOND time on Saturday. See it for yourself 3 hours and 40 minutes into the reel.
